How to Fill Sinchies Pouches
Filling your Sinchies is simple! Whether you're portioning out baby food, yoghurt, smoothies or sauces, here’s how to do it with ease:
-
Wash Before Use
Clean your Sinchies with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly before filling. -
Choose the Right Setup
-
If you're using top spout reusable pouches, pop them into a cup or our Sinch Station to keep your hands free. This helps you fill up to eight pouches quickly and mess-free.
-
For side spout pouches, expand the bottom gussets so they stand upright. This gives you a stable base to work from.
-
-
Pick Your Filling Tool
-
Use a 1 litre Sinchies filler pouch for thick mixtures like mashed meals or purees.
-
Use a collapsible funnel or jug for runnier liquids like soups or smoothies.
-
Or, go old-school with a spoon if that’s all you’ve got handy!
-
-
Fill to the Line
Pour your food in up to the “fill to here” line to avoid overfilling and spills. -
Seal Carefully
-
For side spout pouches: Hold the gusset open with two fingers while sealing the ziplock to prevent any food escaping through the top.
-
For top spout reusable pouches: Gently tap the pouch to widen the neck and press to zip shut. It's a CLICK and SLIDE.
-
-
Wipe & Store
Wipe away any excess drips before storing or freezing. Keep your pouches standing up if storing in the fridge, or flat if freezing to save space.

Step-by-Step Cleaning Instructions
-
Rinse Immediately After Use
For best results, rinse your Sinchies reusable pouches with warm water as soon as they’re empty. This prevents food from drying and sticking inside. -
Use Warm, Soapy Water
Fill your pouch with warm water and a drop of mild dish soap. Use your hand to support the pouch and one of our Sinchies cleaning brushes to scrub the inside thoroughly. -
Brush with a Twist
Our custom-made cleaning brush is perfectly designed to reach every corner of your pouch. Use a gentle twisting motion to get right down to the bottom and into those hard-to-reach areas. -
Don’t Forget the Spout!
Hidden in the base of every Sinchies cleaning brush is a smaller silicone spout-cleaning brush — simply untwist the bottom to reveal it. This mini brush fits snugly into the spout and ziplock seals to ensure a complete clean.
Why Sinchies Are Easier to Clean Than Other Brands
Unlike many reusable pouches on the market, Sinchies are transparent. That means you can see exactly what’s inside — and more importantly, whether your pouch is completely clean. No hidden nasties, no guessing. Just peace of mind every time.
How to Dry Sinchies Reusable Pouches
Drying your Sinchies reusable pouches is a lot like drying a water bottle — it takes a little patience and proper airflow. But with the right technique (and tools!), you can get them dry and ready for reuse in no time.
Best Way to Dry Sinchies
To dry your pouches effectively, you need to keep the neck or ziplock open so air can circulate freely inside. Here’s our go-to method:
✅ Use the Sinch Station – Your All-in-One Drying Rack
We’ve made it easy with the Sinch Station – a custom-designed filling station and drying rack in one! To dry properly, ensure the bottom gusset and ziplock remain open. Pop the pouch over four prongs to dry. Voilà — easy, hands-free drying!
Other Drying Hacks
If you don’t have the Sinch Station yet, here are some clever at-home options:
-
Utensil Hack: Slide your clean pouch over a whisk, spatula, wooden spoon, or chopstick. Stand them upright and leave to air dry overnight.
-
Hanging Method: Use a round peg laundry hanger or clip your pouches to the washing line for natural drying in the sun.
-
Fast Freeze Tip: Skip full drying by shaking off excess water, then store your pouch in the freezer until the next use — perfect for make-ahead meals or smoothies!
Pro Tip: Avoid sealing the pouch until it’s fully dry inside to prevent trapped moisture and odours. Proper drying extends the life of your pouches and keeps them hygienic.
