Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Woolworths Vanilla Custard Powder
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups of milk (dairy or alternate)

Method:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the custard powder, cacao, maple syrup, and ½ cup of milk. Whisk to combine, then set the stove to medium heat.
  2. Once the mixture has heated up, slowly add in the remaining milk.
  3. Turn the stove up to high, whisking constantly. As soon as the mixture starts to boil, turn the stove off and keep whisking until the mixture thickens.
