Easy Sweet and Sour Chicken Marinade Recipe

This sweet and sour chicken has been a family all time favourite when i was growing up. It's quick and easy and tastes absolutely delicious. I remember all too well as a child, licking my fingers and bowl clean.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Marinade
Yields1 Serving
 Equal quantities of tomato sauce, mayonnaise and chutney

Place all the above ingredients into a 1 litre Sinchies resuable pouch.

Shake it around to mix it up.

Place you chicken pieces (we use wings) into the pouch, shake it again to coat the chicken and leave it to marinade in the fridge for a few hours.

Pour the chicken out onto a roast pan and bake them in the oven on 180C until lovely and brown.

If you like crispy wings like me - i put them on grill for a little, keeping a close eye on them to ensure they don't burn.

Enjoy with some rice and a fresh garden salad

We used Heinz tomato sauce, Macro mayonnaise and Mrs Balls fruity chutney (from South Africa but available in Woolies).
We found using a 1 litre Sinchies was awesome as a marinade bag!
