Jo from Sistermixin - I'd like to share with you our dairy free Vanilla Custard recipe. Our son has an intolerance to dairy, so I made this custard with rice milk and it worked perfectly.
1. Chop vanilla bean into about 5 pieces and place in your mixing jug. Add sugar and corn flour and blitz 10 sec/spd 9
2. Add all remaining ingredients and cook 7 min/90C/spd 4
3. Pour into Sinchies for the kids, or eat warm with some fresh banana like us.
1. Place all ingredients into a saucepan and stir constantly over medium heat until your custard has thickened and is ready to serve.
