Chocolate Coconut Slice Recipe

 I also like to have some packet mixes pre made in my pantry, so when I run out of snacks, my slices or biscuits are half already made. I pop all the dry ingredients in my 1L Sinchies and stick a printed recipe to the front with what wet ingredients to add, and how long to bake it etc.
 I’d like to share with you one recipe that is one of my favourites.
 Add to a 1Litre Sinchies
 75g desiccated coconut
 110g brown or rapadura sugar
 140g plain flour
 2 tsp baking powder
 1 TBSP cacao or cocoa
chocolate coconut slice recipe

When you are ready to cook your slice, simply add:


125g of soft butter and 1 egg


Mix until combined


Pour into a lined lamington tin and bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes.


Let slice cool in tin, and once cooled ice with chocolate icing.
